Alison

Owner of RHP

Alison graduated from the University of Aberdeen with a first class honours degree in English and Film & Visual Culture and a Masters in Visual Culture. She won the Film '09 prize for a film she made about her brother, Colin, who has Down's Syndrome.

RHP started off very much as a film company, producing documentaries, promotional videos and filming a variety of theatre performances and conferences. In 2015, Alison and her team began writing and performing murder mysteries in venues across the North East of Scotland including National Trust properties, the Caledonian Railway and Peterhead Prison Museum. In 2017, the company expanded yet again to include musical performances, including singing waiters. 

When the country went into lockdown in 2020, Alison watched all her bookings disappear, with no indication of when things would return to ‘normal’. She quickly adapted and moved her services online, offering online games, virtual events and personalised sing-a-grams. She and her team have now created around 20 games (murder mysteries and more family friendly themes), 13 of which are available via her website, and the personalised sing-a-grams continue to be popular as unique, digital gifts for any occasion. 

Since lockdown, the company has grown from strength to strength, with a busy calendar of events including murder mysteries, singing waiters, tribute nights, silent discos and more!

Alison is dedicated to building and developing Right Here Productions as a credible, friendly and efficient events and entertainment company within the North East of Scotland. 

Right Here Productions is an events and entertainment company based in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire. 

Since it was founded in 2010, the business has developed and expanded to include a wide range of services.

Murder Mysteries - scenarios for venues to hire and for private parties, all devised and written in house and performed by local professional actors.

RHP Sing - musical performances, including background entertainment, tribute nights and singing waiters.

Escape Rooms - created by the RHP team and fully mobile, these escape rooms are a brilliant team building exercise, or different idea for a party!

Online entertainment - online games (murder mysteries and more family friendly themes), virtual events and personalised sing-a-grams.
